Our host team members are responsible for greeting and seating guests to make them feel welcome at The Brass Tap. Positive attitudes and teamwork are a part of The Brass Tap culture. If you love people and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then apply now! Must have open availability.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests to The Brass Tap
- Lead the guests to a table or open bar seats
- Manage server rotations
- Manage reservations
- Take To-Go orders and package To-Go orders
- Keep Host area & Front Door area organized, clean & tidy
- Be knowledgeable of weekly events and promotions
- Keep all menus clean & current
- Assist with table bussing and resetting tables
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Answer incoming telephone calls and take messages
- Thank departing guests and invite them back
- Complete duties without constant supervision
Requirements
- Minimum age 18 or older, based on applicable state & local requirements
- Open availability with no schedule conflicts
- Reliable way to get to work
- Able to competently operate the POS and beverage equipment
- Continuous standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Compensation: $15.49 per hour
